Information We Collect

We collect the answers you provide in the Family Pathway Map, including preferences, constraints, and optional written responses. If you choose to save or receive your result, we may collect your email address. If you request a paid Blueprint when that option is available, we collect the information needed to prepare the report and connect the order to payment status.

We also collect basic technical and usage information, such as page views, timestamps, device or browser signals, referral information, and diagnostic events. This helps us operate the tool, detect abuse, measure whether the Map is useful, and improve the experience.

How We Use Information

We use your information to calculate and display your result, send result links if requested, provide support, improve the Map, protect the service, and prepare an optional Blueprint if you request one. We may review aggregated or de-identified patterns to understand which families the tool is reaching and where the scoring or content needs refinement.

Sharing and Payments

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run Family Pathways, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, security, and payment-processing providers. These providers may process information on our behalf, but they are not allowed to use it to market schools, lenders, recruiters, or programs to you.

Payment details, when paid ordering is enabled, are handled by payment processors. QuanPathways does not intentionally store full card numbers or bank account credentials in Family Pathways.

Student and Family Data

Family Pathways is intended for parents, guardians, students, and advisors making education and career decisions. If a student is under 13, a parent or guardian should use the tool with them. Do not enter highly sensitive information that is not needed to compare pathways.

Your Choices

You can use the free Map without creating an account. Email is optional unless you ask us to send a result link, provide support, or complete a service that requires follow-up. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or anonymization of information associated with your email address.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information we collect. No online service can guarantee perfect security. We retain information as long as needed to operate the Map, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the nonprofit program.
